We can build a Stabilized Camera solution for nearly any aircraft. Our Custom process begins with your requirements. You tell us:

1) The type of camera you want to carry.

2)The number of axis you want to control.
3)The level of stability you need to maintain.
4)The range of motion and speed required.
5)What vehicle you want to integrate it with.

Assembly starts with the appropriate size composite Frames. We have these frames ranging from 3 inches wide, to 16 inches wide. We use one frame for each axis of control.

To the left, you can see the 5, 10 and 12 inch Carbon Fiber Frames. These frames are stacked together with geared servo drives for smooth proportional control. Each axis can be set up for continuous rotation or “return to center” limited rotation. Piezo, Quartz, or geomagnetic stabilizers are added depending on your required level of stability.

A protective Shroud can be added if needed. These are often not used in lighter weight or lower cost systems, however, the shrouds can be molded very light. The 7” diameter pear shape shroud below weighs just 5 oz, and the 16 inch diameter “R2” shape to the left is about 20 oz.

And of course, shrouded systems can be protected from the elements using an acrylic lens cover, like those shown to the right.

Our systems can be set up with long life lithium batteries, or even with solar cells for nonstop usage for days.
